We now live in a time when many children think that fruits and vegetables are grown in produce aisles. Bauman's Farm & Garden has been a working farm since 1896. When school children visit Bauman's, we want them to have fun running through the pumpkin fields and making apple cider, but our greatest hope is that they will leave with a greater understanding and appreciation of agriculture, a large part of Oregon's heritage.
This fall at Bauman's, children will have the opportunity to:
