We are so excited about this weekend because it kicks off the Le Tour des Plants. For those of you who haven't heard about the event let me take a second to explain just exactly what the event is all about. Le Tour des Plants starts Sept 15 and runs through Sept 23. The event is coordinated by the Oregon Association of Nurseries and brings together 36 different garden centers from around the state of Oregon.

To participate in the event each garden center has agreed to hold some of their best specials and sales during the tour. In order to participate in the specials each garden center will be selling a $2 wristband, which will be honored at every garden center that is participating in the tour. In other words you only need to buy one wristband and you will be eligible for all the sales at every participating garden center. In addition to the unbelievable deals many of the garden centers are also holding informative and entertaining seminars and Bauman's Farm and Garden is no exception. Below I have listed all of the seminars that will be going on throughout the week. All of these seminars are free and all participants will be eligible for additional specials.

Sat 9/15
1:00 P.M. Preparing Your Tropical Plants for Winter

3:00 P.M. Creating the Picture Perfect Fall Porch
Follow along with us as we teach you how to transform your front entry way into a stunning display that could grace the cover of any magazine. Everyone who attends the seminar will receive a FREE bundle of corn stalks.

We will help you create an amazing fall container that will look beautiful all winter long as well. All seminar participates will receive a FREE 14" container.

1:00 P.M. Tips from a Monrovia Craftsman
Get all your questions answered and Monrovia's outstanding plant material and all participates will receive 30% off all remaining Monrovia plant material.

In addition to these great seminars we can not forget about the Wristband Specials that will be going on throughout the event. These are the specials that you can take part in at Bauman's with the $2 wristband, which is sold at the farm.

1. $10.00 for a flat of Pansies. With the wristband you can get 16 pansies for only $10.00
2. All of our corn stalks and straw bales are 20% off. This is a great opportunity to get some corn stalks and straw bales to decorate
3. With any purchase of $50 or more you will get a free wooden bushel basket. These work great as a Mum cover or fill them up with gourds for your front porch.
