The Holidays are a very special time of the year for the Bauman Family and we can't wait to share some of our favorite traditions with all of you. In the Bakery we have been working overtime so that you don't have to. Now is the time for you to give us a call or stop by and order a pie or two for your family gathering. Every year we bake hundreds of individually handcrafted pies and we would love to make one for your family. Let us do all of the work for you, it's one less thing for you to worry about.

Our line up of fresh baked holiday pies includes some of our family's favorites like Marionberry, Apple, and pumpkin but we have also developed some new pies that are sure to become holiday traditions.  Barb, my mom's, new favorite is our Carmel Apple pie, which is a true culinary delight. Another must have at the Bauman Family Dinner table is our Berry Blast Pie. This wonderful creation blends, Marionberries, Blueberries, and Raspberries into the ultimate berry pie that is sure to bring a smile to everyone's face. Last year was our first year for U-Cut Christmas trees and this year we have tons of absolutely gorgeous Douglas Fir and Noble Fir trees that are ready to go home with you. On Saturdays starting after Thanksgiving and running through Christmas Eve we will have hayrides to take your family out to the field to pick out the perfect Christmas Tree. Even though it may be cold outside you don't have to worry because as soon as you are done picking out your tree we will cut the tree for you and bring you back to the store where a hot cup of Apple Cider will be waiting for you. While we tie the tree on top of the car you will have an opportunity to stroll through our decorated greenhouse and see the hundreds of Christmas ornaments, crafts, gift boxes, and baskets we have displayed. If you need a packaged shipped, bring your address book with you; all you have to do is pick out which items you would like shipped and we will pack it up and send it off for you.

While you are browsing through the store be sure and check out greenhouse #4, which is the last greenhouse from the barn. For the first time in a number of years we are building from scratch all of our own Christmas wreaths. As a kid my mom and I would spend evenings in the store putting together Christmas wreaths. As we got busier and busier we just ran out of time and started buying them already made and we would decorate them.

We noticed over the past couple years that something was missing, so this year we decided to go back to the way it used to be, handmade here at the farm. For the past two weeks my son Austin, and I have been going down to Grandma and Grandpas, out to the display garden, and to the Christmas tree field to cut many different types of greenery to add to our wreaths. You will find eucalyptus, rosemary, noble, juniper, holly, cedar, and much more. We know you will see the difference.

For a couple years now we have done an open house for the holidays and we have been so blessed to have such great customers come every year to spend part of their holidays with us. This year we really wanted to do something special to give back to our customers and thus we created Bauman's Holiday Celebration on Dec 5th. For the entire day everything in the store will be 20% off for our Bauman Family Rewards Members. Even better, if you bring a friend we will give you and your friend an extra 5% off. If you are not a Bauman Family Rewards member yet, don't worry, by all means stop by on the 5th and we will sign you up for free and you will get all of the special savings.

In addition to the 20% off, we also wanted to add food and entertainment. Wilsonville High School Choir will be here performing Christmas Carols from 12-2pm. At 1pm we will be having a wreath making class.  Cost will be $25.00, please call to reserve a spot.  Starting at 4pm the Glockenspiel Restaurant will be here serving there famous German fondue and handing out coupons to the restaurant.

Since there is so much going on, we decide to extend our hours for the day. We will be opening up early at 8am and serving FREE hot cider, and donuts to everyone that comes through the door and we will be staying late till 6pm serving samples of many of our gourmet foods.  It will be a fantastic day and we hope to see you here.
