We also placed in the top 3 for Best Holiday Market, Best Place to Buy Local Produce, & Best Place to Buy a Christmas Tree! We really appreciate all the support that you have given us!

Well, April has come and gone in a flash. Now Mother’s Day is less than a week away! We know that there are a lot of people who still have a Mom in their life that they haven’t gotten a gift for. Why not let her pick out her own gift??? You can come into the store any day this week and purchase a $25.00 gift card for only $20.00. It’s a win/win situation, you get a fantastic deal and Mom gets to pick out exactly what she would like for Mother’s Day. If you don’t feel like giving her a gift card we have some other great gift ideas, from bedding plants to hanging baskets and from pies to wine there is lots to choose from. You all know how great gift packs are as a Christmas gift for friends and relatives, why not come in and put one together for some of the Moms in your life?

Since April has come and gone that means that it is time for the new monthly rewards member special. For the month of May we want to help you get your vegetable garden going. All month long rewards members can receive 5 tomato plants for only $5.55! That’s right five 4” tomato plants for $5.55. There are almost 30 different varieties of 4” tomatoes available so maybe this could be your excuse for expanding your garden and trying out some new varieties…who knows, you could find your new favorite! If you come out to pick up some tomatoes make sure that you stop by inside the greenhouse to check out some fantastic new plants for this year. Besides, every pumpkin…big or small that enters into the Weigh Off receives some great prizes. In our last newsletter we told you about the local asparagus that has come in. We still have lots of it and it tastes fantastic but more local produce is beginning to arrive! Last week we began picking our very own Walla Walla Green Onions! It feels great to have vegetables begging to come in fresh every morning from the fields. Stay tuned because it won’t be long before rhubarb, spinach, lettuce, and peas will be fresh out of our own fields!
